Global COOLING?!?

Bret Anderson (Accuweather.com)Reported this on his global warming blog. Personal biases aside, he does a far better than average job of giving both sides of the climate change debate.

“WBZ-TV in Boston recently ran a short video interview with Harvard Astrophysicist Dr. Willie Soon on their website.

Dr. Soon discussed the plausible scenarios of a dimmer sun on the earth’s climate.

Some of the possible scenarios that Soon discussed………

1. A reduced energy input from a dimmer sun will result in less heating of the oceans’ surface, which would lead to less evaporation from the ocean surface. The result of this would be a decrease in water vapor, which is by far the earth’s major greenhouse gas.

2. Less water vapor would result in a decrease in high cirrus clouds, which trap more heat than they reflect.

3. A reduced energy input from the sun would equal less energy to bring water vapor high into the atmosphere, so more would end up collecting a few kilometers from the surface, resulting in more low clouds. Low clouds are much more effective at reflecting sunlight, which would produce a net cooling effect.

The fact is, the sun is putting out much less energy than it did even 2 years ago. I don’t have the expertise to say if this is a natural cycle or not (although I believe that to be the case.) I believe the net effects os less solar energy hitting the Earth can be seen here:

All those blue colors in the ocean waters in both the N.Atlantic and N.Pacific oceans are cooler than average waters and are occurring planet wide. This is a good indicator that less energy is coming from the sun to heat the oceans. Our oceans act much like batteries, in that they store energy gradually and release it gradually. This is what regulates weather patterns across the globe. The oceans have the most significant effects on the land they are closest to. Since 70% of the land on Earth is in the northern hemisphere, the N.Atlantic  and N.Pacific oceans have the greatest effects on the worlds climate. I don’t know how much more to read into this except that global warming is NOT happening. In fact, the evidence from the sun which is the origin of the heat on earth(not carbon dioxide as some would have you believe) may indicate the opposite.

Health problems

I have my own share of heatlth problems but my mom is very ill and in the hospital and my dad just broke his hand so I am pulling double duty taking care of them. Please be patient with me as I will be quite scarce for the next week or two. Please also keep my parents and this nation in your prayers.

Neutering our language

One huge way that the Obama regime has pulled the wool over the eyes of the masses is by “Neutering” our language.  The tru definition of neutering language is watering down lies so that they sound reasonable to the less educated masses.  Those of us who understand the meanings of neutered language need to counter such language whenever and wherever it is heard. Here are some examples of neutered language. 

Community Organizer: Communist Agtitant.

Cap and Trade: Energy Tax

Green Energy: living in the stone age with no electricity or running water

Man Made Disaster: Terrorist act

Immigration Reform: Open Borders.

Government/Corporate cooperation: Fascist or Communist takeover of our capitalist system

Tax Cut: less of a massive tax increase than those richer than you

Card Check: forced unionization of businesses to empower union thugs

Economic Stimulus: wasteful government spending in an attempt to destroy our capitalist system through forced monitery inflation

Climate Change: Man made destructive changes in climate made official by AlGore (PHD, Bovine Scatology)

God: mythological being worshipped by extreme right wing kooks. God is in same mythological class as gnomes and unicorns.

Theses are just some of the Obaminations that are creeping into our language out if the white house. Those of us with common sense left must stand up and put a stop to this misuse of our language.  Obama’s teleprompter will call a rattlesnake a caterpillar just so someone can get bit.  If we don’t start fighting back on this front soon it will be to far gonr.

Followers of the way

As you know this site is called “God and Country.” I named it that because God plays ha huge role in my life. It was my belief in God that led me to start this site. It is my belief in God that makes me belief  that we can make a difference with him behind us. I was recently complemented on the originality of my writings. My writings come from my core beliefs, and my core beliefs com from my belief in God and my belief that everyone should be able to worship as they so choose. The people ruining this country want first and foremost to take away our desire, ability and right to worship as we so choose. It is those core values and strengths that set us apart from every other nation on Earth. I personally follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. This is the “Christian” aspect of my blog. The goal of this blog is not to push a religious agenda, but Christ is a large part of my life his teachings are a large part of my political views. Included in that is honesty and respect. Most people try to separate religion and politics. For me that is impossible. When I look at Christ’s teachings I see everything we should be doing right politically, for instance: he taught to give a man a fish, he eats for a day, teach him to fish, he eats for a lifetime. Christ never said anything about giving all the fish to the government and hope for your fair share. Christ also taught to pay  taxes honestly, but never taught anything about the people being a part of the government it would seem that Christ’s teachings of ethics and honesty would apply to those holding elected office would apply here. There are many of Christ’s teachings that are totally misrepresented by those with political agendas. That I why I am a follower of Christ’s teachings. Not a Baptist, or a Catholic, or a unitarian or a Presbyterian. I simply study the teachings of Christ and that is it. The original followers of Christ weren’t called Christians at all. Thy were called “Followers of the Way.” I aspire to be a Follower of the Way.” I hope and believe that you see that in my writings. I try my best to be intellectually honest in my writings. I try my best to walk the fine of being both a “Follower of the Way of Jesus Christ” and  being someone who is very angry about those who desire to take away my country, my freedom, and relationship with my Lord which is the foundation that has made this nation the most prosperous nation in human history. What baffles me is why? If these people want to live in a communist dictatorship, why can’t they migrate to Europe or Venezuela. It’s just not enough for the communists to be miserable, they must make everyone else miserable too.

Chink in the armor

Given the results in the New York state representative special election, I see a chink in the armor of the Obama political machine. This was an election that the Democrat should have won going away. Instead, the result was a tie with the uncounted absentee ballots appearing to be the deciding factor. If I am correct and 1. the majority of those uncounted ballots are Military, and 2. the ballots are counted fairly, The Dems will lose a stunner in an election that should have been easy. Do you have any doubt that the person holding this seat in this district was chosen because the Dems thought it would be an easy win in a special election which would strengthen Obama’s “mandate” to communize the nation? It was all planned out that after the big Dem win the Obama lockstep media could stir up huge hype about how this reinforces Obama’s mandate to liberalize the nation and make him look like the true world leader during the G20 summit. Instead, Obama looks like a buffoon, The rest of the world leaders see him as a joke, the world press is asking him the hard questions that our media is scared to ask, and Obama has managed to find another tax cheat to nominate for his cabinet. Now it is time to stop using the word “socialism” which sounds soft and friendly and start using the term “Marxist communism” which is what Obama is trying to do.  The Obama regime is very good at “neutering language” which will be name and subject matter of my next post which will appear tomorrow barring any sort of emergency.

Where do we go from here?

We are at a political crossroads. We (the independent bloggers, tea party folks and the 912ers) have reached the point where we need to become a coherent group. We clearly have the numbers , but we are disorganized. We need some sort of coming together. In a perfect world, it would be some sort of rally in D.C. We also need a name that represents what we believe in. I favor the “Constitutionalist” party, myself but would love to hear other ideas. I realize that for saying this, some Obama led gestapo agents my beat my door down and take me away to that place where people never come back from, but I accept that. Where the Unions, and Acorn have the upper hand now is organization. If we want to beat them we must out organize them.

Global Warming meltdown?

 I saw a very inaccurate test done on TV where temperature tests were conducted comparing sun heated plastic soda bottles filled with CO2 and air. A soda fountain was used to fill a plastic bottle with compressed CO2 while the other was filled with air. Compressed CO2 is quite a bit more dense than air and it seemed like far too much CO2 was used. Naturally the CO2 bottle warmed much faster than the air bottle to the point where the results were extreme. Then it was said that there’s global warming in a nutshell. As far as I can tell, on Earth, atmospheric density has not measurably increased in the last 100 years. Had compressed air and air with miniscule amounts of CO2 been used to equal pressure, it would have been a fair test. The amount of CO2 in the CO2 bottle would have made a good experiment to explain why Venus is warmer than Earth but was grossly inaccurate for Earth conditions. False data is being used to explain away global warming when (scientifically) solar and oceanic cycles are the big players in climate changes. There is a whole other side to the GW argument that is being buried mainly to indoctrinate young people. For the last 20 years Earth has experienced warm oceanic cycles in the Atlantic (AMO) and Pacific (PDO) oceans. That is why those of us in Florida have experienced so may more hurricanes in the last 15 years. The warm Pacific (PDO) cycle began in 1982 and ended in 2007. The warm Atlantic(AMO) usually lags behind the Pacific and started in 1995. Those same cycles happened in the ’30’s-’50’s when Florida was hit far worse than this time. As these warm oceanic cycles shift to cold, there will be cooler times ahead especially in N. America and Europe. The fact is, these are the natural cycles that GOD put into nature to regulate Earth’s temperatures so we can live here. Those pushing “man made climate change” simply want to put God out of the picture.  The God I read about in the Bible is very forgiving but does not tolerate those who put themselves above him. If your children start talking about climate change or “going green” they are likely being influenced by these people. They need to be emphatically taught that God is in control, not man. The only way we can stop the agenda of those behind these lies is to make sure we closely pay attention to what is taught to the young people.

Why should I read about the Weimar Republic? (Part 1)

Not long ago, Democratic co-chairs of the judiciary committee, Representative Michael Lawlor and Senator Andrew McDonald proposed a bill CT (1098) that if made into law would put the organization of the Catholic church under the control of the Connecticut state legislature. Proponents of the bill claim that this would only affect the Catholics and no other “Christian” denomination would be impacted.  After all, just because they would do such a thing to the Catholic church doesn’t mean they would do such a thing to anyone else. If passed, the state legislature would be able to decide how the Catholic church organizes, where they can meet and how much of Church donations would be paid to the Government.  Instead of the Church running it’s own finances and making decisions on things such as property independently, The State of Connecticut would set up “Lay Councils” which would have authority over such matters. The Catholic clergy would in turn get an “advisory” role on these councils.  The bill is currently on hold because the public found out about the bill and reactions were less than enthusiastic. Fellow Americans, the time is nearing when religious persecutions will make our political and religious differences become insignificant. There is a growing militant “anti-Christian” (socialist) movement in the U.S.A. and western Europe. Our Country was founded on religious freedom and if that pillar falls, so goes the U.S.A. I have nothing against “atheists” or “socialists” but it sure seems like they have a problem the overwhelming majority of the country that does not share their beliefs.

 

  Unfortunately, this group has rich and powerful friends in local, state and federal government here in the U.S.A.  If successful, they will destroy the moral fabric of America which begins with the family and God.  That is the true foundation of America, not our “financial institutions,” as they say on the news everyday. These “anti-Christian” groups have been emboldened by the results of the last election.  The only victories we Christians can claim out of 2008 elections are the “Gay Marriage” bans. This has angered the “anti-Christian” fascists who are seeking to overturn propositions 2(FL) & 8(CA) by any means possible.  During the resulting public firestorm over the (1098)  debacle in CT, Lawlor and McDonald admitted the bill was unconstitutional and blamed it on the State. Enjoy your freedom of religion while you’ve got it because unless we as a nation put the hammer down and stand up against nonsense like this, we will wake up one day and it will all be gone. We are marching down the historical path of the Weimar Republic.  I encourage everyone to study the Weimar Republic and take a long hard look at our current situation.  The similarities are frightening for the future of our country.  The Weimar Republic also had a growing “anti-Christian” movement and one morning, people woke up and they had taken over the government under the banner of “national socialism” during a time of economic hardship by promising change. (sound familiar?)  It makes me very glad that I have God in my life. but fearful of the times ahead.  Are you mentally prepared for the possibility of religious persecution… torture… or worse?

This is only the socio-religious aspect of how we are following the Weimar Republic down a very dark and sad path. There is an economic side too. That will be for next time.

Stupid is as stupid does…

 No, I am not calling anyone stupid. However, a group of “global warming” researchers tries to ski to the north pole.  They are 17 days in to their 85 day trek and are near starvation because of cold weather and blizzard conditions. Attempts to airdrop supplies to the victims have failed due to bad weather. This was done in an attempt to measure sea ice depth. I just have one question for them: Didn’t anyone tell them it’s still winter?  What did they expect to find at the north pole, a tropical rainforest? And just think, these are college grads. Maybe their liberal climatology professors aren’t worth the millions of dollars they are getting paid. The only thing these researchers did that is stupid is believe all the dopey global warming hype being spewed to our kids through the world public education system.

 In a totally unrelated story, President Obama is planning to push through his “cap and trade” energy tax next week which will reduce global warming by making energy more expensive for us. Of course this will not affect China, India, or Europe. Since America releases 24% of the worlds greenhouse gasses, doesn’t that mean 76% will go untaxed? Something tells me the the rest of the world will be laughing all the way to the bank. You realize that that bank wont be ours because other nations that don’t kill their corporations with taxation will have bought us out by then.
